Our goals
Maximum energy efficiency: Unused energy is the most environmentally friendly and cheapest energy. Therefore, the focus is on reducing energy losses through the electrification of mobility, building renovations, and the promotion of non-motorized transport.
Energy supply: We want to transform the destination from a consumer of fossil fuels to a producer of regional and renewable energy. The focus is on decarbonizing buildings and mobility and expanding solar energy.
In the Flims Laax Falera destination, we are at the source of clean water. Nevertheless, the battle for distribution has long since begun here too. Many bodies of water are polluted due to overuse and construction. We want to use water better and more efficiently and prevent pollution.
Waste is a resource in the wrong place. Following the principle of "reduce, reuse, recycle," we strive for a circular economy: no new resources are needed, everything is reused. The goal: to prevent littering and keep the environment clean.
Minimal distance, maximum quality: Keeping everything as local and seasonal as possible means shorter transport routes and promotes the local economy.
It is the absolute be-all and end-all of our planet: biological diversity! To ensure that this remains the case, we protect it and iron out the mistakes of the past.
The Greenstyle Book
The tenth anniversary of Greenstyle was the impetus for Greenstyle book "How to run a sustainable alpine destination"and the decision to share all our experiences and visions with employees, locals, second home owners, guests, and anyone interested. The result is a book of over 250 pages. It summarizes projects, goals, and visions from the past 10 years and is intended to serve as a guide for how alpine tourism can work in harmony with nature. Greenstyle Management Report
We all have a unique opportunity to build a future based on infinite resources. Thanks to efficiency measures and the economical use of resources, we are strengthening economic efficiency. And with regional, climate-friendly energies, we are becoming independent of energy imports, increasing security of supply, and creating new jobs—without harming biodiversity. This is important to us—for ourselves and for future generations.
With the Greenstyle concept, we have put together a comprehensive package of measures. Around 200 large and small projects have already been implemented. We are still far from perfect. We don't claim to be. But we are constantly learning and developing. The Greenstyle management report helps to periodically review the measures and their effectiveness, adjust them if necessary, and create transparency.

Greenstyle Foundation
The Greenstyle Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2016 by the Weisse Arena Group. Since then, the Weisse Arena Group has supported the foundation in various measures to raise funds. The donated money is used to support charitable projects in the region in cooperation with committed individuals and local businesses.
