Stars above LAAX at Crap Sogn Gion: Snowboard pros battle for the title at LAAX OPEN 2022 on Saturday, January 15

Laax, January 14, 2022. Finals in LAAX. On Saturday, January 15, the grand finale of the last FIS Snowboard World Cup before the Olympic Games is on the agenda, with two finals for women and men. In slopestyle and halfpipe, prestigious titles, valuable World Cup points, a total of CHF 140,000 in prize money, and, for some, a ticket to the Olympics are at stake at Crap Sogn Gion.

The slopestyle final at midday (1:15 p.m.) promises pure excitement with 2020/21 World Cup overall winners Anna Gasser (AUT) and Markus Kleveland (NOR), as well as young talents such as Switzerland's Bianca Gisler and Leon Vockensperger, and Annika Morgan from Germany. The final highlight of the LAAX OPEN 2022 is the Superpipe night final under floodlights (5:30 p.m.). The start list is full of big names, including US superstars Chloe Kim and Shaun White, China's Jiayu Liu and Cai Xuetong, and the strong Japanese contingent, which alone fields eight riders. The host country Switzerland is also well represented with Jan Scherrer and Pat Burgener.

You can follow the LAAX Open on LAAX social media channels. The finals will be broadcast on laax.com/open and delayed on Red Bull TV. Television channels such as SRF, RTS, RSI (Switzerland), Eurosport, Olympic Channel, and others will also broadcast the World Cup in Laax.
