The 2026 Snow League Final Event in LAAX Was a Success

LAAX, Switzerland (March 26, 2026) – The Snow League, founded by three-time Olympic champion Shaun White, celebrated a spectacular finale to its first season in LAAX, Switzerland. Three days of freeski and snowboard competitions, 48 motivated athletes, a festival atmosphere, music and park sessions, bright sunshine, and thick snowflakes made the event an unforgettable experience.

Shaun White is thrilled: “LAAX was an obvious choice for me—it hosts some of the best snowboarding events, I’ve competed here myself, and the halfpipe is considered the best in the world. That’s why LAAX is the perfect venue for the Snow League season finale.”

Four reasons why it was so great, among other things:

• High-flying Kaishu Hirano sets a Snow League world record at the Jeep Biggest Air. With a jump of 7.72 meters, he lands the highest halfpipe jump in the Snow League.
• Superstar Eileen Gu shone with elegance, style, and technical skill at the Snow League’s first night event, winning the freeski contest in LAAX and becoming the first Snow League world champion in the halfpipe.
• The youngest snowboarder in LAAX, 14-year-old Patti Zhou, soared 3.96 meters (13′ 0″) high in the halfpipe quarterfinals with a Cab 720, winning the Jeep Biggest Air and grinning all the way to the future.
• In the Mini Pipe Session, hero Shaun White radiates pure joy and enthusiasm for his sport as he drops into the pipe alongside the kids and his old teammates. It’s a blast for everyone.
