5th Discovery Days in Flims Laax Falera

They travel, take photographs, and explore with passion: at the fifth edition of Discovery Days from Friday, September 23 to Saturday, September 24, 2022, around 18 speakers will once again share their very personal stories. The topics range from the far north of Alaska and Siberia to Patagonia and South Africa, from the Balkans to the Pamir Mountains to Kashmir and the last hunters and gatherers in the jungles of Southeast Asia. As a highlight to kick things off, on Thursday evening, September 22, 2022, Harald Philipp will talk about his mountain biking adventures in the Himalayas, Siberia, North Korea, and the Alps. A highlight for all mountain sports, travel, and nature fans.

Immerse yourself in the world of adventure

Among the storytellers are well-known travelers to Arabia, a comedy duo, mountain athletes on skis and bikes, and a young woman searching for her circumciser in Ethiopia. It is a colorful mix of serious, exciting, and funny stories from different countries, cultures, and eras. Eighteen unique stories will amaze, amuse, and inspire the audience during the day. In the evening, the "campfire talk" offers the opportunity to ask the speakers questions and engage in discussion. It is a celebration for all travelers and invites you to dream.

A familiar face guides you through the event

As the highlight before the award ceremony on Saturday evening, Uli Kunz takes his audience underwater: the well-known research diver, marine biologist, and Terra-X presenter reports on his expeditions into the depths of the oceans.
