Conversion of the Crap Sogn Gions into the "GALAAXY"

The Crap Sogn Gion mountain station at 2,252 meters above sea level is the hub of the LAAX winter sports area. It is getting a facelift for the 2017/18 winter season: parts of the over 50-year-old building are being significantly redesigned and the catering facilities are being further improved. The building on Crap Sogn Gion, often perceived as a spaceship, is breaking new, galactic ground under the motto "GALAAXY." The redesign will breathe new life into the expressionless rooms and cool walls.  

The focus is on color, style, plants, and fun details. Special design elements include an old Coke machine that has been repurposed as a toilet door and a dance floor from the Dolder Hotel in Zurich. In addition, bright neon signs offer visitors words of wisdom, and they can even have T-shirts personalized with embroidery in the sticker shop. Radio GALAAXY's playlist is responsible for setting the right groove. Cultural events are also in the works, for example in the new open workspace "The Bridge" with a cinema and seating area.
