LAAX kicks off the 2021/22 winter season

The wait to dream about those first turns in the snow is finally over: LAAX kicks off the 2021/22 winter season this coming weekend, November 6–7, 2021, with the opening of the Vorab Glacier. Snow lovers can look forward to two slopes and a small snow park. The Vorab Restaurant and the Capalari Restaurant on Crap Sogn Gion invite you to relax and recharge your batteries.

Winter operations in LAAX: slopes, facilities, and tickets

Slopes 32 and 33 on the Vorab glacier will be open this coming weekend. The following facilities will be in operation: Laax Murschetg – Crap Sogn Gion cable car and the Vorab glacier lift. The Crap Masegn cable car and the Crap Masegn – Fuorcla and Fuorcla – Vorab gondola lifts will be in operation as feeder lifts. Weekend operations will run from the Laax valley station and start at 8:30 a.m. The last descent from Crap Sogn Gion is at 4:30 p.m. The current COVID-19 regulations, as already implemented in the summer, apply to all cable car facilities, queues, and restaurants.

Lift tickets are available via the web shop, the INSIDE LAAX app, and on site at the mountain railway ticket office, and are not limited. The dynamic prices now apply to all online and offline channels. More information about weekend operations is available at laax.com.

Autumn activities in Flims: walking and relaxing around Foppa

Due to the expected amount of snow at lower altitudes, all bike trails are closed for the time being. If it's still a little too early for winter sports, you can take the Flims–Foppa chairlift up the mountain and enjoy the last days of autumn with a walk. The lift will be operating until November 28, 2021, from Thursday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Foppa mountain restaurant and Casa Berendi invite you to stop by for refreshments.
