LAAX kicks off the 2019/2020 winter season

The dream of those first turns in the snow is finally coming true: LAAX is kicking off the 2019/2020 winter season with the opening of the ski area around Crap Sogn Gion. Various slopes and facilities will be open for snowboarders and skiers starting this coming weekend, November 23 and 24, 2019. Freestylers will get their money's worth at the NoName Snowpark with a range of obstacles and kickers. Hikers are also welcome in LAAX and can enjoy the start of the season on the winter hiking trail from Crap Sogn Gion to Crap Masegn. Refreshments are available at the GALAAXY Mainstation or the Station Plaun restaurant.

Slopes, facilities, and operating hours

This coming weekend, slopes 49, 51, 52 up to Alp Dado, and 66 will be open. The following facilities will be in operation: Laax Murschetg – Crap Sogn Gion cable car, Plaun 6-seater chairlift, Alp Dado 6-seater chairlift, Crap Lift and Pipe Lift, as well as the 12-seater gondola lift and Curnius – Crap Sogn Gion 4-seater chairlift as feeder lifts.

Pre-season operations run from the Laax valley station and start at 8:30 a.m. The last descent from Crap Sogn Gion is at 4:30 p.m. Daily operations from the Laax valley station and weekend operations from Flims start on November 30, 2019. Daily operations from Flims also start on December 14, 2019. Further information on pre-season operations and the open slopes, cable car facilities, and restaurants will be continuously updated on the website and the INSIDE LAAX app.

Lift tickets can be purchased at the mountain railway ticket office at the Laax valley station and at the current best price via the INSIDE LAAX app. During the advance sales period from October 1 to November 30, 2019, early bookers can also benefit from attractive special rates attickets.laax.com.
