Kick-off for the LAAX OPEN 2023

Almost 220 riders will be competing for valuable World Cup points, CHF 165,000 in prize money – divided equally between women and men – and the coveted titles. The start list features illustrious names such as Marcus Kleveland (NOR), Mark McMorris (CAN), Anna Gasser (AUT), Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (NZL), Cai Xuetong (CHN), Queralt Castellet (SPA), Jan Scherrer (SUI), Scotty James (AUS) in snowboarding and Tess Ledeux (FRA), Mathilde Gremaud (SUI), Andri Ragettli (SUI), Birk Ruud (NOR), Alex Hall (USA) and Jesper Tjäder (SWE) in freeski.

The preliminary rounds of the men's slopestyle competition kick things off, followed by the halfpipe riders entering the contest on Thursday, before one highlight follows another over the weekend: a live concert with Churchhill at the rocksresort on Friday evening, the slopestyle final on Saturday afternoon, the night final in the halfpipe in the evening, followed by two liveacts in the valley, and finally the Freeski Slopestyle final on Sunday afternoon against the impressive mountain backdrop and the Galaaxy mountain station.
