New Habitat for Wild Bees at rocksresort

wildbienenparadies im rockresort laax nachhaltige investitionen weiße arena gruppe

A very unusual combination, but one that can be achieved without any problems: In the middle of the rocksresort at the Laax Murschetg valley station, guests will find a snake run and a wild bee paradise alongside an urban surfwave from July 2018. The idea behind it: Where you take something away from nature, you also have to give something back to it. But anyone who is afraid of bee stings can breathe a sigh of relief, because: Wild bees do not sting.

The Urban Surfwave, built in summer 2017, will be expanded in spring 2018 with a Snake Run. A wave trough track will be built on asphalt in the terrain. As a piece of meadow is missing on the rocksresort grounds due to the tarring of the ground, a wild bee paradise was created around the Snake Run, with flowers on which wild bees feel particularly comfortable. Since wild bees do not sting, they now find their ideal home at the rocksresort and can even be admired by curious guests on the nature trail in the wild bee paradise in the “insect hotel”.
