LAAX stands for freestyle like no other destination in the Alps. The four snow parks are an important flagship for the region. With the opening of the new Pro Kicker Line in the Curnius Snow Park, both young athletes and professional teams will find training opportunities unlike anywhere else in Europe. The new Pro Kicker Line has a total length of 600 meters, consisting of four kickers (jumps) with a length of 20 to 30 meters and landing zones of 30 to 60 meters. Until now, freestylers have only seen such dimensions at contests such as the X-Games in the USA. To ensure that the Pro Kicker Line is ready in December, LAAX has implemented a unique project: the jumps have been pre-formed by modifying the terrain, which greatly reduces the effort required for technical snowmaking and thus facilitates preparations for the start of the winter season.
