The two-seater chairlift from Alp Ruschein to Crap Masegn is now a thing of the past. We now transport our guests in a state-of-the-art six-seater chairlift, which was developed in collaboration with Porsche Design Studios. In addition to their futuristic design, these mobile oases of comfort feature unique technical innovations. Solar panels on the back of the seats cover the power requirements for seat heating and provide even greater comfort.
Another highlight is a joint in the cable suspension. It allows the chair to swivel 45 degrees against the direction of travel. This means that guests can enjoy an unobstructed view of the mountain landscape instead of the back of the person in front of them. In contrast to previous chairlifts, the new system also travels at six meters per second instead of five, thereby achieving a 20 percent increase in capacity.
