The World Ski Awards are celebrating their 10th anniversary! Every year, they honor the most popular destinations and hotels in the international winter sports industry through jury and public voting. They are also part of the World Travel Awards, which are considered the "Oscars of the travel industry." LAAX has once again received three nominations.
LAAX also has something to celebrate in 2022: for the tenth time in a row, the winter sports resort has been nominated as "Switzerland's Best Ski Resort." LAAX has already won this award six times. LAAX is also among the nominees in the "World's Best Freestyle Resort" category, especially since the winter sports resort has been the undisputed winner since this category was introduced in 2016. The award has never gone to another destination.
The rocksresort's renewed nomination in the "World's Best Green Ski Hotel" category proves that LAAX stands for sustainability as much as it does for freestyle, and that a "green lifestyle" is by no means just for alternative sandal wearers. With last year's victory, the rocksresort has now received this award three times in total.
