The Vorab Glacier is located above the municipality of Laax. Until 20 years ago, one of Switzerland's most popular holiday regions hosted a summer snowboarding and skiing camp in mid-June, but this is no longer possible due to massive glacier melt. Over the next 30 to 35 years, we can expect the Vorab Glacier to disappear completely as a result of human-induced global warming.
