What do the LAAX Rider professional athletes actually do in summer? Sina Candrian, David Hablützel, and Andri Ragettli. They are all known beyond Switzerland's borders. But this is mainly in winter, when they fly through the air on skis and snowboards, land big roles in film productions, win medals worldwide, and bring them back to LAAX. All three freestylers live and train in LAAX during the winter. But what do the LAAX athletes actually do during the snow-free summer months? As we all know, it's important for athletes to maintain a balance and stay fit during the summer. That's why we've listed the LAAX Riders' favorite activities as summer tips in the Flims destination.

My summer base is: Flims(as in winter)
My favorite summer activity in Flims is bikingon the TREK Runcatrail or the countless playful single trails in the large forest of Flims. Of course, I also enjoy going up the mountain without two wheels, but with my camera and hiking boots. My insider tip: climb the Pinut early in the morning at dawn and enjoy the sunrise when you reach the top! Afterwards, you can take a wonderful, refreshing dip in the Bargisbach stream.

My summer base is:Flims (as in winter)
My favorite summer activity in Flims isbiking on the TREK Runcatrail or the Neverend Trail. The TREK Runcatrail starts in Naraus, so it's best to take the chairlift from Flims to the Naraus mountain station. The TREK Runcatrail has lots of jumps and waves and is one of the longest flow country trails in Europe. The Neverend Trail freeride route starts at Crap Sogn Gion at 2,252 meters above sea level and ends in Laax-Murschetg. Fun fact: In 2013, I even took part in the Trailfox bike event in Flims for fun and won the rookie category.
Skating in the Urban Surfwave

In winter, you'll find me in LAAX: inthe superpipe or in the P60 snow park (Crap Sogn Gion – Curnius).
My favorite summer activity in Flims is skateboarding on the Snakerun or the Urban Surfwave right next to the Laax-Murschetg valley station, or exploring the many hiking trails in the ski area. When the weather isn't great, you'll find me at the Freestyle Academy, mainly on the trampolines or the skateboard mini bowl. And when I'm not "skate surfing" in LAAX, I'm probably out on the open sea.
