Shaun White presents the trophy to the first Snow League world champions in freeskiing, Eileen Gu and Luke Harrold

Gu (CHN) and Harrold (NZL) claim the Snow League LAAX titles

The overall freeski champions of the first Snow League season have been decided: Eileen Gu (CHN) and Luke Harrold (NZL) prevailed at the final halfpipe event in LAAX to claim victory in the inaugural season of the new series. In doing so, they made history. The trophy was presented by Snow League founder and three-time Olympic champion Shaun White.

In a spectacular under-the-lights finale at Crap Sogn Gion, superstar Eileen Gu—following multiple victories at the Olympics and the LAAX Open—also secured the Snow League LAAX title in the halfpipe in commanding fashion. Luke Harrold achieved the same feat in the men’s competition. The 17-year-old New Zealander impressed with his style, technique, and height.

As the only European in the final, Zoe Atkin (GBR) finished in third place.
