The highlight of the Snow League will be three days of freeski and snowboard halfpipe competitions to crown the champions of the first season.
(LAAX, Switzerland / New York, NY, USA) – September 18, 2025 – From March 19 to 21, 2026, LAAX will host the fourth and final event of "The Snow League," the first professional sports league dedicated exclusively to snowboarding and freeskiing. Founded by snowboarding icon Shaun White, it brings together the world's best riders in LAAX's legendary superpipe. Thirty-six snowboarders and 16 freeskiers will compete in the season finale, where the very first Snow League World Champions in both women's and men's categories will be crowned.
Three-time Olympic halfpipe champion Shaun White says: "The Snow League is realizing the kind of unified global competition that I could only dream of during my career. We have brought together the best halfpipe athletes and are delivering on our promise to host competitions at world-class resorts."
The legendary halfpipe in LAAX on Crap Sogn Gion is perfect for the Snow League's European debut. The resort is known worldwide for its major international freestyle events and has a halfpipe that is groomed daily by pipe master Jeremy Carpenter. Shaun White made his mark on this venue long ago, most recently in 2022 when he secured his qualification for his fifth Olympic Games here.
Omer Atesmen, CEO of The Snow League, adds: "LAAX is the perfect stage for the closing event of the first Snow League season. It is an iconic freestyle destination that, just like The Snow League, has creativity, progress, and community at its heart. We are delighted to be crowning our champions from season number 1 here."
Fans can look forward to nonstop action throughout the entire event. Between exciting preliminary rounds and knockout finals, there will be live concerts at sunset. All this takes place within easy reach of the Crap Sogn Gion mountain station. There's only one thing left to say: mark your calendars and be there: March 19 to 21, 2026, The Snow League in LAAX, Graubünden, Switzerland.
