Kokomo Murase (JPN) and Romain Allemand (FRA) are the LAAX OPEN 2026 Snowboard Slopestyle Champions

In glorious winter weather at Crap Sogn Gion, 19-year-old Frenchman Romain Allemand clinched his first LAAX OPEN title and made history as the first French snowboarder to win an FIS Slopestyle World Cup: "I'm speechless!" Allemand impressed with progressive and technically demanding tricks such as a back double 10 pullback to 900 melon. 17-year-old Yuto Kimura (JPN) came second, with Olympic champion Su Yiming (CHN) taking third place. From a Swiss perspective, Jonas Hasler impressed, securing his Olympic ticket with a strong 6th place finish. In the women's competition, Kokomo Murase secured her first victory at the LAAX OPEN presented by Zalando. The Japanese athlete showed off a beautiful frontside double cork 900 truckdriver, among other tricks. Lily Dhawornvej (USA) in second place and Olympic champion Anna Gasser in third place completed the top three.
