Double victory for LAAX at the Blick Winter Awards 2024: At the annual national award ceremony LAAX wins the “Action & Snowparks” category and is named “Best Ski Resort in Switzerland” on top.

As in previous years, LAAX was honoured by Skiresort.de as the test winner in the “5-star ski resort” category. Skiresort.de, the world’s largest test portal for ski resorts, has been presenting the coveted industry awards since 1998.

LAAX was honoured by SnowTrex as the ‘Best Place to Ski’. The award was based on customer ratings.

The Greenstyle Foundation has won two innovation awards for the “Last Day Pass”: Bronze in the category “Brand Design” at the international New York Festival Advertising Awards and Gold in the category “Best Use of Direct Marketing” at the national Montreux Award. LAAX is awarded 1st place in the annual customer survey by the online platform for winter holidays, Schneehöhen.de, in the categories “Snowboard” and “Cross-country skiing”.

LAAX wins twice at the World Ski Awards: For the fifth time in a row, the Alpine destination is named World’s Best Freestyle Resort.  In the category Switzerland’s Best Ski Resort, LAAX has already won for the sixth time in a row.

LAAX is once again honoured in the Best Ski Resort study as Snowpark LAAX wins the Fun and Snowboard Park category. The LAAX School can be pleased about the award as the second best ski school in the Alps.

The INSIDE LAAX app receives the “Swiss Mountain Award”. Every two years, Ropeways Switzerland presents this award for outstanding achievements in the ropeway industry. Three projects are nominated and the winner is chosen by a jury.

The Weisse Arena Gruppe wins the national environmental prize “Prix-Metallrecycling” for its top infrastructure with around 100 recycling stations on the mountain and in the valley. The prize is awarded annually by the two recycling organisations IGORA-Genossenschaft and Ferro Recycling.

LAAX is named “World’s Best Freestyle Resort” at the World Ski Awards for the fourth time in a row. The World Ski Awards annually select the best ski resorts in the world in various categories by public and jury vote.

The htr hotel revue and hotelleriesuisse present Reto Gurtner with the Milestone Award for his life’s work. With this most important Swiss tourism award, the jury recognises his decades of commitment to the destination of Flims Laax Falera and his constant striving for renewal.

It is one of the few ski schools that does not belong to the Association of Swiss Snowsport Schools and works with a specially developed concept around the successful character Ami Sabi. LAAX wins in the Fun and Snowboard Park category for the fourth time in a row. In the Rent & Service category, second place goes to LAAX Rental. The Best Ski Resort Study is conducted every two years among 46,000 guests and 55 ski resorts in the Alps.

Skigebiete-test.de awards LAAX with the highest distinction of TOP Ski Resort. Of the 180 ski areas tested worldwide, only 16 receive this rating.

The ADAC SkiGuide and the ADAC travel magazine SKI 2008 award LAAX first place in the snowpark category. The decisive factor for the award as a top ski resort is the large range of facilities for snowboarders and freeskiers. The expert jury calls LAAX an “exceptionally versatile snow paradise”.
